Never planned on uploading this. Was a simple writing exercise to combat writer's block. Ended up using it for English class and everyone seemed to love it so, given this was heavily inspired by Sasuhina, perhaps you might enjoy it too. This is basically a modern-au version of one of the many possible paths Sasuhina could have gone down(At least, you'll most likely look at it in a modern setting, however, can be taken in actual canon setting with slight divergence being that the two never really interacted let alone fell in love(which is a bullshit level all on its own for another day's discussion). Some people were confused by what the plot was. Some weren't. Hopefully, you aren't either. Without further ado...enjoy my beautiful darlings!

If you were confused like handful of my peers, basically, Sasuke's doing time in jail while thinking about his Sweetheart, Hinata, who changed his world altogether (tragedy still befell him in the past, she couldn't fix that, but she made him see that so long as he has her, maybe there's reason to continue living after all). And I'm not one for sad endings so eventually he gets out, hence "we're together at last." Whether he breaks out or does his time, you decide (because just attempting to murder political figures or anyone really can land you in the stoney-balones for basically forever.
