Randall sighed heavily. He hated paperwork and being the owner of Monte' Dor meant lots of it. Randall was sitting at his desk in his office, trying to do paperwork, when he heard a knock on the door. Probably Henry… thought Randall. "Come in!" Randall called.
"Master Randall, I brought you some tea." Henry said, carrying a tray.
Springing to his feet, Randall exclaimed, "I have to show you something Henry!" Randall was nearly bouncing in excitement, remembering something he had worked on for Henry. "C'mon!" Randall exclaimed excitedly. Randall, completely forgetting about the tray, started pulling a confused Henry out the door of the office, effectively making him drop the tray with a CRASH! Randall continued to drag him throughout the house.
"What the heck are you two doing?!" Angela questioned, looking at Randall drag Henry around the house.
"It's a surprise!" Randall grinned excited. Angela was getting curious about what her husband was so excited about but continued with what she was doing. Randall dragged Henry to the other side of the room where there was something concealed in a white cloth over it. Randall released Henry and walked over to the white cloth. He picked up the object and handed it to Henry.
"It's for you, Henry." Randall grinned. Henry took the object gently and began to remove the cloth over it. It was…the toy robot that Randall had given him when they were children. The robot had been smashed to pieces and the pieces scattered during the aftershock. Henry looked at it in shock. He looked at the glue holding the non-broken robot together. It wasn't the best glue job but the fact that Randall looked for and found all the pieces and glued them back together is what truly touched Henry. This robot was very important to him; it was like the sign of their friendship. Henry smiled.
"T-thank you, Master Randall," Henry smiled.
"I knew you'd like it!" Randall grinned. But soon after Randall's excitement had died down as he began to think about the paperwork that he still had to do.
"Would you like some help with the paperwork, Master Randall?" Henry suggested, knowing what his friend was thinking. Henry, being the previous owner of the city, knew very well how to run one.
"Yes, that would be wonderful," Randall said. The two got to it.
