"Jamie, get up, you have to get ready so we can go" Eddie said as she walked into the bedroom. Their rehearsal dinner was at 6:30 and to be able to beat the city traffic, they would have to leave soon. Jamie had just gotten home from work and Eddie had taken a few days off to finish some last minute details of the wedding.

"Babe, we have more than enough time" Jamie said as he rolled over to look at her.

"Wow, you look great" he said as he gave her a glance over.

Eddie looked like a vision in a white lace dress with her golden locks curled. After what happened with Sydney, Jamie truly thought he would never get married or even have children of his own. Then a short, spunky blonde named Eddie Janko came into his life and changed it in ways he didn't even know was possible. She understands him in ways that no one else can. For a long time, the thought of them being in a relationship was always a fantasy for Jamie. Then when that fateful day happened, he realized that he was losing so much not being with her.

Proposing to Eddie was the best thing he ever did. Of course, it may have seemed very soon for some people but for him, the timing was perfect. Even when they were just partners, they were always in constant communication. Talking on the phone, texting, or hanging out, they always knew what each other was up too. Many people in the 12th always assumed they were together. People who didn't even know them would always ask them if they were boyfriend and girlfriend or married. No matter how much they denied it, Jamie always knew he wanted it to be a reality. Now that it's happening, he couldn't be more grateful.

" Thanks honey" Eddie said as she came to sit on the edge of the bed. She leaned down giving him a sweet kiss on the lips. "Okay, you really need to get up because we're gonna be late".

Jamie looked up at her giving her one of his trademark smirks. "They can't start without us babe" he said giving her a mischievous look.

"Oh no, I know that look" Eddie said chuckling. "Trust me if we had more time I would definitely be down for it but come on Jamie, you still have to take a shower!" Eddie said as she got up trying to pull him out of bed. Jamie kept on laughing on how hard she was trying to pull him.

"Okay, okay I'm getting up now" Jamie said. Eddie let go of him and turned to leave the room.

"Eddie"

"What" Eddie said as she turned around. As soon as she turned, Jamie grabbed her hand and flung her over him back down on the bed.

"JAMIE, you're gonna mess me up! I just got ready!"

"You can always get ready again" he murmured as he peppered kisses down her neck.

"Ah.. well.. damn it.. okay" she said as she brought up his face to give him a passionate kiss.
