Chapter 1
After two years away from Central, Edward and Alphonse are returning to Central. Because are returning from two years undercover, and Ed wasn't in his trademark attire, when Ed comes to HQ no one recognizes him.
Also, at the same time Riza Hawkaye called calls bets, "OK, today we'll bet about what Roy is going to do".
"I bet he will finish his paperwork, and stay in his room not to get more," said Havoc.
"He'll probably finish his paperwork, get more, and leave on another date," said Feury.
"He'll hide in his office trying to procrastinate as much as he can, and will act as if he was working whenever you come in, Z" laughed Hughes, and continues, "Have you seen the latest pictures of my family"? And bombards them with the pictures that no other bet can be made.
Riza, somehow, doesn't seem to mind him, and puts her bet, saying, "I bet that he will use his boom-boom gloves today"!
While everyone stops and says, "oooohh," Al comes in.
"Did you see my brother"?
"I heard him walk into Mustang's room," said Riza as plainly that one would think that this happened every single day.
They then hear an explosion, and Riza takes the pot, "When I bet I win"!
"Should we see what happened"? Asks Al.
Meanwhile in Roy Mustang's office Ed just got in.
"May I help you"?
That was a lost hope." Says Ed thinking of the mission he just finished.
Roy, still not sure if this really is Ed coming back, says, "Short time no see".
Getting no answer, he tries again, "You haven't grown an inch in this whole time".
Ed, with his usual hot-headedness, starts screaming at Roy, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT! I DID TOO!"
ED then claps his hands together and transmutes a sword from his right arm.
Roy seeing him do this, snaps his fingers and explodes the window, "Lets take this outside," and they jump out the window.
