A/N: I know I don't usually write when Harry and Ginny haven't got any children yet, but, you know, who cares XD

The wind from a February storm raged outside. It was 1am and Ginny just couldn't sleep. She was 6 months pregnant with Harry's and her first child and the baby was kicking violently. She rolled over and heard another great crack of lightning.

"Harry" she whispered, finally, after a long time wondering if she should wake up her husband from his sleep. Harry slowly unstuck his bright green eyes and stared at his wife.

"What? Are you ok? The baby?" he asked, jumping to the worst conclusions. Ginny shook her head.

"No, of course not" she replied, making Harry slump back into the pillows, "but I'm really craving some strawberries." She distinctly heard Harry groan and she silently cursed her cravings.

"Sure. I'm on it" he murmured, getting up. Ginny kissed him, and he returned it happily.

"I'll be back soon." He told her, flinging a cloak around himself and walking out the room. Ginny felt another kick to her stomach and she lay on her back, eyes open. She felt guilty about sending Harry out so late; he was working hard at the ministry these days, but it might be something that calmed the kicking baby down.

Harry apparated to a shop that was open all night and yawned sleepily. This wasn't the first time Ginny had sent him on a midnight errand, but he wanted her to be satisfied. He walked to the strawberries and took some off the shelf. He would have guessed that he was the only person in the shop, besides the shop keeper. So he thought, until he met face-to-face with another man, in his pyjamas, holding a large jar of peanut butter.

"I have a pregnant wife at home" the man told Harry. Harry grinned,

"Me too"

"Congrats. How many months?" The Man asked.

"6. I'm excited for the time when all these midnight runs are over" Harry replied.

"It gets better after 6 months. My wife is 5 months with our second child," the man told Harry, "She's asked for the most random things" Harry nodded in agreement.

"Well, nice meeting you" They shook hands,

"You too".

Harry went over to the till and handed over the muggle money. He then walked out into the stormy night and apparated away home.

Ginny had been resting lightly until she heard the door shut downstairs. She heard Harry's soft footsteps along the hallway and the bedroom door creaked open.

"Hiya" he whispered. He took of his cloak and handed the fruit to Ginny.

"I'm sorry for making you go out so late" she told him gently.

"Its fine. I've been out late for missions before" he replied, "plus, its for you and the baby" He jumped into bed and Ginny ate the red fruit, enjoying every last one.

After she had finished, she turned over to face Harry. He put his hands on her baby bump and felt a small but firm kick against his palm.

"He sure is active" he exclaimed.

"He?" asked Ginny, eye brow slightly raised.

"Or she" Harry hastily added, earning a giggle from Ginny.

"You think or hope it's a boy? Which one?" she asked him.

"I think it's a boy. I don't hope for one. I just have some sort of instinct that it's a boy." He grinned.

"That's weird. I've been thinking that too" She said thoughtfully.

"We'll know in 3 months, not long at all!"

"3 months of freedom" Laughed Ginny. She snuggled into Harry and yawned deeply. Harry rested his chin on the top of her head and felt another kick on his hand. He closed his eyes and fell almost instantly asleep.
