Sakura waved goodbye to her teacher before disappearing into her house. After conducting her nightly routine she went to bed. It been and exhausting day, and she could feel the sleepiness tugging at her mind.
Sakura heard crying in the distance. She decided to follow the voice. She failed to realize she was making a mistake.
Her eyes widened as she came across Ino, who, to her surprise, was crying. Before the blonde laid a bloody corpse, which seemed disgustingly twisted.
"Sakura, we were supposed to last forever. I was depending on you," Ino sobbed with a crazed expression. "Where's my happy ending?"
It was then Sakura realized the body was Kakashi's, and Ino was clutching a bloody heart.
Sakura woke up to sunshine and chirping birds. She noticed a note on her table from Kakashi. He couldn't meet her today because Ino had asked to see him. Her stomach clenched, but she couldn't explain why.
Shrugging, she went back to sleep. Her date would have to wait until tomorrow.
