A/N: The second one of my 5trueloves Eiji fics, this one pairing him with Fuji, the prompt being Blind.
Guessing Game
"Who does Fujiko like?" Eiji's eyes were bright and wide as he stared up at Fuji from where he lay sprawled on the floor of Fuji's room. "Nyaa, tell me, tell me!"
Fuji smiled at his friend. "Why don't you try and guess?"
"Nya, okay!" Eiji turned to lay on his stomach, leaning on his elbows. "Soo... is it a boy?" he asked eagerly.
"Yes, it is." Fuji nodded.
"I knew it!" Eiji said triumphantly. "Does he play tennis?" he then asked, obviously expecting a positive answer.
Fuji was all too happy to provide him with one. "Yes, he does."
"Obviously, for our genius to like him." Eiji grinned. "Is it Yuuta, nyaa?"
Now, Fuji laughed. "I do like Yuuta, but not that way," he said. "I'm not quite that twisted yet."
"Good." Eiji stuck out his tongue. "That would be just too creepy even for Fujiko, nyaa." He seemed to think for a moment, then asked, "Is it somebody I know?"
"I'm sure you know him very well." Fuji grinned.
"Very well? Is he in Seigaku, then?"
"Saa. He just might be." The grin got broader.
"Wow, this is fun! Now, let's see..." Fuji frowned in thought before his smile brightened again. "Is it Tezuka?"
At this, Fuji laughed again. "Tezuka? Not even close."
"Taka-san, then?" Eiji tried.
"Wrong again. He is sweet, yes, but not my type."
"Geez, wrong again." Eiji pouted. Then, his eyes widened in shock. "It's not Inui, is it? Is that why you're always drinking those nasty drinks of his, nyaa?"
Fuji couldn't help but laugh at Eiji's horror. "Don't worry, it's definitely not Inui," he reassured his friend.
"Then it has to be Oishi!" decided Eiji. "Is that it? Is it Oishi?"
"What would you say if it was?" asked Fuji, smiling.
Eiji winked. "I'd say you have good taste but you'd better not try to make him your doubles partner because as far as tennis goes he's mine, nya!" His eyes shone with excitement. "So, is it?"
"Sadly, no." The genius smiled at his friend's frown. Sliding off his bed, he sat in front of Eiji. "Keep guessing."
"If it's not Taka-san or Tezuka or Inui or Oishi, then..." Eiji looked thoughtful. "Is it Kaidou Fuji likes?"
Fuji shook his head, smiling. "No, it isn't."
"Momo, then? Or Echizen?" Eiji continued.
"No and no." By now, Fuji was grinning.
"So it's a non-regular then, nyaa." As Fuji again shook his head, the acrobat looked genuinely confused. "Then who is it?"
Learning a bit closer to Eiji, Fuji smiled. "You sure are blind sometimes, Eiji," he said, amused. Then, with a bit softer voice, he added, "But then, that's just one of the reasons why you are so cute."
And, with this, he kissed Eiji.
