I really should work on updating my incomplete stories 6u6;; but for now, have a short fluff! Please excuse any errors.

This was it, he was finally going to do it. His hand, sweaty and slightly shaky, timidly crept over to Antonio's, trying to not make much out of it. The moment their fingers touched, the Spaniard easily took his hand into his own.

Lovino thought, or maybe it's just him, that his heartbeats were so fast and loud that they seemed to echoed off the walls; maybe they did. He turned his head to face Antonio, eyes adverted and face burning hot. It was easy, all he had to do was close his eyes and hope that he won't fuck up too much.

Antonio had been patient with him but Lovino doubt he could make him wait any longer. So he decided to look up at the Spaniard's encouraging face and nodded, closed his eyes, and leaned forward. A few seconds later he could feel something soft pressed to his nose but he continued to keep his eyes shut.

"That's my nose, idiot."

He could hear a soft laugh, followed by an apology. "I guess I'm just as nervous as you are."

Lovino mumbled something back but it was too low for the other to hear him. He still kept his eyes closed, until he could feel Antonio's warm breath near him again and finally their lips met.

It was sort of odd, really, he didn't feel any fireworks exploding or any light-headed dizziness in his head. The kiss only lasted for 2? 3? seconds before the Antonio pulled away and Lovino opened his eyes in surprise.

"What's wrong?" Antonio asked, wondering if his boyfriend didn't like it.

"N-nothing…I just." But Lovino didn't finish his sentence before a bubble of giggle escaped his mouth and he couldn't help but think how silly he was for being so nervous about it in the first place. His body relaxed, hand no longer tightly squeezing Antonio's . It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly exciting either, it was just, damn funny.

"I, I can't fucking believe I was so nervous, God I'm stupid," he said between laughs.

The Spaniard was confused for a moment before he realized what Lovino was laughing about and started laughing along. He too felt the nervousness and worry leave him and leaned back against the sofa to support himself.

They continued to laugh together until their heads bumped against one another. This time, the air wasn't as tensed as before and they leaned in to kiss again, smiling. It was true that those kisses didn't feel like 10 thousand suns like in the movies, but it left them feeling satisfied and happy.
