Gee, I've got to stop side-questing. I should probably continue my main novel right now, but naaah. Here's another tale, this time about BurningLeafShipping. (I will be using the FireRed and LeafGreen terms, as in the boy being Red [or Fire, if you will] and the girl Leaf. Leaving Blue as the rival/son of Prof. Oak.) Let's hope this is good. Thanks for your time!
"Hey there!"
"Oh, hi, Leaf! What're you doing here? I thought you were raking the leaves in your garden?" Red questioned, walking along the warmly-hued leaf path.
"Did you honestly think I could finish that labor before dinner, boy? Have you seen how many leaves had fallen from the big tree? I just hopped over the fence and couldn't help but notice you passing by."
Red chuckled and said, "Oh, I'm headed to Mt. Silver for several months of training." The caramel-headed boy calmly replied.
"You WHAT?! Without telling me?" exclaimed the brunette.
"Well.. I didn't want you to worry about me."
"Of course I'd worry about you, if you'd disappeared for that long! Why can't you just train here?"
"The top of the mountain will toughen me and my pokemon much faster. Here, how about this.." The boy crouched down and grabbed one of the remaining green leaves and one red one. He handed Leaf the red one. "Hold on to that so that you will not forget about me. I'll have the green one to keep you on my mind, even though.." Red mumbled the ending.
"Could you repeat that last part louder..?" she said curiously.
"...Even though I already always think about you," he said with a blush that lived up to his name.
Leaf flushed from the statement, too. "Is that so, Hero?" The boy simply nodded, covering his face with his cap. "Well, I can't just forget about you either."
"...Really? You seemed more interested in Blue whenever we saw him in our travels.."
"Him?" she remarked. "He's an ass... I only treated him like that because he's more like an annoying brother to me. I was curious about how far he was in his journey. You, Red.. I like you. On our journey, you were always so calm and kind to everyone.. and especially to me. You are skilled and bond well with pokemon, and you don't look too shabby either," she said with a smile.
Red's blush deepened upon hearing what she said. "Oh, I'm not the one with the good looks here. You are quite the eye-catcher, Leaf. You're also a crazy one, but it makes you stand out. I like you for that. Er.. maybe more than like..."
Leaf stepped in front of Red, stood on her toes, and pecked him on the lips. "I love you too."
The famous trainer reacted with unintelligible gibberish, causing a giggle to escape the girl's lips.
"Y'know.. maybe I don't have to go.. if I can train on a mountain, I can train all the same here, right?"
Leaf let out a big smile before tackle-hugging Red.
"How does Starmie's sound?" asked the boy, not caring that the girl was on top of him. (A/N: Starmie's is like Arby's or Wendy's, you get the point!)
"I'd love a nice Tauros Burger right about now. (A/N: Hey, the pokemon world has got to get their meat somehow! Miltank are strictly for milk!) And you're paying for it, Hero!" she demanded, putting a finger on his chest.
"Whatever you say, ma'am!" Red responded.
"..Anything~?"
"...Yes?"
"Take off your shirt!"
"What? NO!"
