Worth it
Sins and regrets weigh my heart.
Sour as limes yet sweet as a tart.
High of moments that never lasts
The pain and tears that come too fast
A second's time could be prolonged
With a kiss of the lips and a moody song
But what to do when it disappears
Look around and it's been one year.
The chase, the thrill –the rush of it all
Yet, in the end, I can only feel small
A broken heart could slowly be healed
While dust cannot be glued or resealed
All you can do is throw it away –away
No possibility of another lovely day
Was it worth it?
Just a couple of weeks with you?
In a delirious daze and loving it too?
I can't answer that, not now –maybe never
