"I'm sorry Alex but your mother and I think that it would be a good thing for you to get out of the city, so we made plans with your cousin Emily to send you to La Push for the year." Jerry Russo said to his daughter. "I HATE you. You can't do this to me" exclaimed Alex. "Honey its what's best for you, with your troubling behavior." Said Teresa, Alex's mom. Next thing they know is that their daughter is gone. She flashed out using her wand. Yes a wand, you see the Russo's are wizards. They have a son Justin who is the oldest, Alex the only girl, a troublemaker too, and their youngest son Max who can be oblivious to everything around him. Jerry Russo was a wizard until he married his wife Teresa who was a mortal. Making Jerry have to give up his powers in order to be with Teresa.
The next day:
Alex was just getting off the plane in Seattle when she saw a man with a sign with her name on it. She walked over to the man and he introduced himself as Sam, Emily's fiancée. She was silent; she didn't want to talk to anyone except Emily.
They got into Sam's car and drove the two and a half hour drive to La Push.
Once they got to the house she ran inside and straight into Emily's waiting arms. She hugged her and asked how her flight was. "It was fine. I was wondering if I could go see the sights around here on my own." Alex said and Emily replied "that's fine just be home by six, dinner is at seven." "Thanks" Alex said running out of the house and into the woods behind the house.
2 hours later:
He saw her lying there in the woods crying. She lifted her head and saw him standing there. He stared at her, immediately he felt the pulling. It was pulling him towards her. He knew he had just imprinted on this mystery girl. It didn't matter that he didn't know her yet; he sat down beside her stroking her hair and whispering comforting words. When she finally stopped crying she sat up and fully looked at him. That's when she felt IT. She knew the name because her father had made her and her brothers to a research project on anything they found interesting on the wiznet. A locked bond is what it was called. It is the most rare thing that can happen to a wizard. And yet it has happened to her right now as she stares at the most gorgeous guy she had ever seen. A locked bond is when a wizard finds their other half, but it was always with another supernatural being, so what was this gorgeous boy. "What's your name?" asked Alex. " My names Jacob Black. What's yours?" "Alex Russo" she replied. " Well are you alright now Alex?" Jacob asked. "Yes I'm fine now thank you." Alex said. " I don't mean to intrude but why were you crying?" he asked. "I don't want to be here, my parents shipped me over her across the country to live with my cousin Emily and her fiancée Sam because of my behavior." Alex replied. "You're staying with Emily! That's awesome!" Jacob said."Yeah i guess so. But i still don't want to be here." said Alex. "Well, maybe i can change that. theres a bon-fire tonight. Maybe you would like to come? Emily and Sam will be there and you can meet the rest of the guys." Jacob offered. "I think i would like that, yeah i'll come." Said Alex. "cool." Said Jacob.
