Disclaimer: I do not own anything in Sasami: Magical Girls Club.
AN: When I saw this scene, I knew I wanted to write a story for it. It's short but I want it that way. I think a part of it is tweaked a bit.
Under the soft glow of the moon two figures danced near a shimmering pool of water. The nearby flowers accompanied the couple, singing their song in perfect harmony! It was very nice, even a bit romantic. But at the same time, it was a little awkward. Sasami still wore her pink pajamas, the very same ones that she'd brought to the world of the witches when she left. Yet, she didn't even seem to mind.
Even though she'd protested at first, her new friend Amitav had insisted that they dance. He said that they should enjoy the beautiful music surrounding them. This was all new to the blue haired girl, and she needed some time to take it all in. The beautiful full moon illuminated the satiny black sky above them and the pink flowers sang their lovely song with the pond shimmering and glistening in the moonlight.
But perhaps the thing that was most prevalent on her mind was the reflection that stared back at her in the pond. Those puffy, lush, blue pigtails, her crimson eyes sparkling, and even the dress she was wearing in the image instead of her pajamas. And of course, the fact that she looked much older. It was like a glimpse into her future. It was surprising, but yet at the same time it was a wonderful sight to see.
When she first saw her older image, Amitav complemented her, saying that she was quite pretty and beautiful even. Her friend's words made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. No one had ever given her a complement such as that before. At least, not the people she'd know in school.
Sasami smiled, eyes closed as she enjoyed her first dance with a guy. For her, it was wonderful and very fun! Yet, in spite of her happiness, there was a feeling stirring inside of her. She wasn't exactly sure what it was, but she quickly assumed it was a similar feeling that she had for her other friends.
It was love, she was sure about that. But not the love that two hearts feel for one another, it was the way two close friends felt. She loved all of the girls in the club! Just not in the same way that Anrie loved Tsukasa. To her, it was like saying that all the girls in the club were close to her, they were her best friends and she was very happy about that!
But yet, even though Sasami was thinking that, why did it not explain what she felt? It was the same, yet it seemed different at the same time. But, for now, she would keep dancing with her newfound friend under the soft light of the moon. They would dance until it was time to go back to the others.
Though Sasami hoped it would have lasted just a little bit longer…
