A/N: This was originally going to be full on Bren angst but I decided that the world needed more Parker and I don't think I've read anything about Parker post WitW. I am planning on continuing this further but I am low on motivation at the moment so that may not happen. Please review as this is my first try at Bone fanfiction!
Tempe Brennan walked along the vibrant turf of the cemetery, dodging the granite head stones that were blurred through the small amount of tears that had collected in her eyes. In one hand she held a small bouquet of red, white and yellow roses, in the other she held the hand of a now eight year old Parker Booth. His mother had dropped him off at Brennan's place earlier that morning. Every few weeks Rebecca would drop him off at the Jeffersonian to see Dr. Bones and the squints, but this morning Brennan had requested for him to be dropped of earlier so that she could take him to see his father. Rebecca understood and agreed, she knew the bond the her and Parker had made was almost as strong as that of her and Parker's father.
Brennan say the headstone that she was looking for, it was still receiving small bouts of flowers after three months. She looked down at parker and squeezed his hand tighter as her emotions began to get the better of her. He looked up at her, with the same smile that his father had when he was trying to comfort her. She placed the bouquet gently against the head stone as Parker placed a small cross over where his father's heart would be. Brennan stood up straight and wiped away a stray tear that had fallen.
"Dr. Bones, do you think daddy can hear us?" Parker asked, pulling her eyes away from the headstone.
"Well, when I was here with your dad visiting my mum he got me to talk to her and although physically she couldn't hear me, I'm sure that she could see me talking to her from heaven and could hear me in her heart." She said reassuringly to the small boy.
Longer A/N: If you want me to continue with this just leave a review and I'll see what I can do, I'm planning for the next chapter to be back at the lab. If you have any suggestions or ideas please feel free to tell me! :D
