Hi, this my short little one shot that I'm doing while I have writers block with my other story, Lost Diamonds. This story is after Big Time Rush ends as a band. This is also an early Christmas present to all! So here is my story Christmas Present. :]
P.S. I really don't know anything about the army so sorry if some the details aren't the best.

It was 11 p.m. and Melissa Garcia was sitting on the couch in the mansion that she shared with former Big Time Rush band and she was drifting off to sleep. For the past two years her brother, Carlos Garcia had been enlisted in the army and had be fighting in Iran and everyday for the past two years she would, sit on the same couch and hope for her brother to walk through the front door.
Most nights she would fall asleep on the couch and then wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare and then drag herself to bed. Then the next night she would repeat the cycle. But tonight was a different night; James Diamond had come down stairs to check on the half asleep girl on the couch. Tonight he felt bad for her it was the night before Christmas and Melissa was really hoping for one thing for Christmas. James approached the girl and said, "Melissa please go to bed."
"No, I have to wait for Carlos!" she wined half asleep.
After she said that, she fell asleep. James sighed and picked her up and went up stairs to Melissa's room. When he got to her room, he placed her on the bed, instantly waking her up. "James why did you do that?" she wined still half asleep.
"Look its midnight. Why don't you make a wish?" he asked her.
"I wish for my brother to come home safe." Melissa said and then fell asleep again.
James smiled and pulled the blankets over her.
James walked into Melissa's room happily on Christmas morning a shook her awake and said, "Melissa get up! It's Christmas!"
She rolled over and opened one eye and said, "It's too early! Can we do this when I'm more awake?"
"Please Melissa! There is a really big present for you waiting down stairs!" James pleaded, still smiling.
"Fine!" she huffed.
Melissa walked down stairs to where the Christmas tree was and saw a human sized box, wrapped in red wrapping paper, and had a big tag with her name on it. She walked over to the present and took the top off and what was inside what she was not prepared to see. There before her standing in the box was Carlos, smiling, and clad in his green army uniform. Her jaw hit the floor and her eyes welded up with tears. "Carlos is that really you?"
"Hey baby sis!" Carlos said, holding out his arm for a hug.
Melissa attacked him in a hug even though he was still in the box and she knocked both of them to the floor and was still was hugging him. "Merry Christmas Melissa! I missed you so much!" Carlos said, kissing her forehead.
"I missed you too and I love you so much!" Melissa said, tears falling from her eyes.
"I love you too!" Carlos said, now his own tears falling because he was so happy.
In both of their minds it was the best Christmas ever!
