Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, I merely write fanfiction.

Hi, this has been written for Jily week on Tumblr under the theme of travel. I hope you enjoy this and the rest of my stories for this week.

They lay there, silence surrounding them as they listened to each other's heartbeats. Darkness covered their entwined bodies, as the rest of the room was paled by the moon. Yet, a glow could be sensed radiating off the couple.

"I want to travel" The young, red-headed, woman whispered, so the man, she was with, could hear her over their shallow breathing.

James, the man, looked down at the woman who had her head rested on his chest. "Then travel, we must" he whispered back to her, kissing her forehead as he spoke.

"You mean it?" She replied, excited. Lily pushed her head off his chest so she could look her husband in the eye, as confirmation.

James smiled at his wife and her habit of looking him in the eye when he said something she couldn't quite believe. "Of course, I want to travel too" He told her, smiling, his perfect Potter grin.

"Where?" She asked, simply, intrigued by the fact her husband wanted to travel. It was one thing he had never told her before.

"You know the world" he said, smacking, as she rolled her eyes at his response. After sensing her displeased expression, he added, "Well, I'd like to go to France, climb the Eiffel Tower, with fireworks around us" he said, holding the red head closer and lowering his head to kiss her.

"James, what the hell are you going on about?" She asked, shaking her head in disbelief, laughing at him. James was never normally like that.

"Nothing, I just wanted to use one of Padfoots lines, he uses to get a girl" he confessed, rubbing the back of him neck, chuckling at himself. "But, in all seriousness I would like to go to Tehran" he admitted.

Lily laughed when she heard the reason he had been cheesy as hell. "Tehran does sound amazing" she admitted, looking at him and sighing. "Promise me when this war is over we will go to Tehran?" she asked him, looking into his eyes, once more.

"When the war is over, we'll apparate that very minute" He promised, softly.

There it was, a promise that was never kept, in reality, the young couple were soon to find out they were pregnant and then they were hidden. Before the end of the war the couple were murdered at the wand of the darkest wizard known to man.

I hope you enjoyed day one of Jily week. Olivia
