*I do but own Jane and the Dragon or its characters

This is for all the procrastinators like me. Hope you enjoy!

Everyday day he told himself that this was the day he would say it. Everyday day he would say "I will tell her tomorrow"

And that was what he told himself. He tricked himself into a routine, thinking that just one more day of waiting would not hurt. So when tomorrow's became today's, he was too afraid to utter those most important words. How many tomorrow's had passed when it was certain that today was more important then the last? A years worth of many morrows was not enough, for he still was afraid and perhaps it would always be like that. So with an empty smile he would tell himself that he would tell her tomorrow, but it was always the same. Almost like a game it was. Thinking of excuses, thinking that the world would wait for him. But he was but a foolish man, with no power to change such laws that nature intends.

One day, he woke to what was supposedly today yet it looked as though it was becoming tomorrow. With neither moon nor sun, he thought to himself that maybe today was tomorrow so there was no time to waste. Jumping out of bed, and securing his jingly hat, he ran out the door looking forward to what tomorrow's today could finally bring.
