Bella's POV
My mind just liked to wonder. I was thinking about when I met Edward. I wondered where I'd be if I didn't move to Forks. I wanted to ask him, though, just not out loud. I put my hand to his cheek.
Ever wonder where we'd be if I didn't move to Forks?
"No, why do you ask?" He asked.
Our family stared. Alice and Jazz zoomed into the room.
Just popped into my mind. I was thinking about meeting you. To think it came to this. From hateful glances to falling in love to getting married to having a child.
"I agree." He smiled.
"Who're you talking too?" Emmett asked.
"Should we tell them?" Edward asked only loud enough for me to hear.
I thought for a while. It has always been our secret.
Sure.
He nodded.
"I was talking to Bella," he replied.
"You can't read her mind!" Rose exclaimed," We all know that!" She sounded exasperated.
"Did you ever figure out what Bella could do?" Edward asked," She's a shield. She can protect her mind, but she can also push her shield all the way from herself."
Our family gaped.
"How come you never told us?!" Emmett demanded.
