Six Friends

Six people had been changed by the attempted Jigsaw Killings. Adam Faulkner, Lawrence Gordon, Lynn Denlon, Zep Hindle, Amanda Young and even Jigsaw himself had changed. They realized they needed one another. Adam needed Lawrence, Amanda needed Lynn, John needed Zepp and vice versa.

After the experience in the bathroom Adam and Lawrence were practically inseparable. They couldn't live without each other as it seemed. Adam couldn't sleep at night unless he knew Lawrence was okay. Lawrence couldn't make it through the day unless he had Adam be his side. The time they had spent together in the grueling bathroom made their relationship. Lawrence and Adam learned they needed to make an equal partnership to get through hard times. Before they didn't know that. They often would recall a time when they each had to work together when they were trapped. It always made their relationship a little better.

Amanda and Lynn didn't get along as well as Adam and Lawrence did initially. Amanda was at first to afraid to admit to Lynn she was needed her. Lynn wasn't too eager to help Amanda out either. They ended up together anyway after Lynn saw Amanda on the street several weeks after she was released from Jigsaw's warehouse. Amanda had been buying heroin and Lynn stopped her. Amanda tried to explain to Lynn she wasn't going to hurt herself. Lynn was reluctant to believe her. The two women had since been in a push and pull relationship with each other. They could rarely agree with each other but having liked each other a lot when one wanted something the other gave in.

John and Zep knew each other for several years but never admittedly gave a relationship a try. Zep wanted to. He had fallen for John's charisma and philosophical thinking. John didn't want to indentify himself as gay. For whatever reason it scared him that he was different. Zep changed that. He made a point of it doesn't matter what he's called as long as someone cared for him. Their relationship was probably the most average of the three. They had no horrific experience that brought them together. One hadn't saved the other for a bad fate. They didn't each other less or more but they still loved.

Through the experience Lawrence, Lynn, and Zep had begun socializing more at work. Lawrence had given Zep more important jobs as an orderly. Lynn invited Lawrence in on surgeries. Zep accompanied Lynn more eventually being her best assistant.

John, Adam and Amanda worked together on a human nature book. The trio wrote the book detailing their experiences. Adam took photographs of the spaces where the incident took place. John wrote his opinion on what happened to the human's survival instinct. Amanda supplemented the information with why she had supported him.

The six became good friends with each other as well. They got together now and again to go out like other friends do. They talked about jobs and their life. Amanda and Lynn once announced they would adopt a child. John and Zep were filing for a civil union. Adam and Lawrence were filing for a civil union and planning to adopt.

The group of six had a special connection. They had been through the worst life could throw at them. They were all connected by the fact they had survived things others hadn't. They had increased perspectives of life. If none of it happened they didn't know where they would be. They knew at the end of it all they needed each other. They were friends after all but they were also more.
