AN: I'll keep this bit brief, this is the first fanfic I've written, so I hope you like it and I'm open to critique. Also this is a oneshot, but I might add onto it.

Velvet woke up in a cold sweat. After half an hour of trying to go back to sleep she gave up entirely and got up, walking to the other side of the room where Coco's bed was. Careful not to wake up either of the other team members, she gently nudged her leader awake. "...What's going on?" Coco half mumbled as she reluctantly woke feeling annoyed. Upon realizing it was Velvet who woke her up her tone changed from irritated to concerned, her teammate wasn't the kind of person to wake someone up for no good reason, and asked the obvious question, "Is something wrong?".

"Um, well," Velvet started, noticing how childish her issue probably seemed, "I kind of had a nightmare and I was wondering if maybe I could, uh," she looked away and blushed a little as she continued, "Sleep in your bed tonight?" Coco stared at the disheveled faunus in front of her for a moment, before simply scooting over in her bed and patting the space next to her, much to Velvet's relief. "Thank you" She whispered, before laying down next to her.

A few minutes of awkward shifting passed and they eventually ended up in a position where they were both comfortable, which involved Coco wrapping her arms around Velvet's waist, with her face pressed into the crook of Velvet's neck, with their legs tangled together under the blankets.

Morning came, and Yatsuhashi was the first to wake up, surprised to find his team leader almost literally tangled with her best friend, both with contented smiles on their faces. He grinned, mostly because they were completely adorable, and partly because this meant Fox owed him 20 Lien. He just about pushed Fox out of bed to wake him up, and had to restrain himself from yelling excitedly, "Dude, dude, dude, Fox! It happened!"

"What are you talking about..." Fox began groggily, then trailed off realizing what Yatsuhashi meant, "Dammit, one more month and I would've won! I'm still happy for them, I just wish I could see this, I'm sure it's cute-" He was cut off by his very excited teammate.

"'Cute'? Try completely adorable!" Yatsuhashi cut in.

"Yats, I'm happy too, but are you sure you're not just this excited because you won the-" Fox had to restrain himself from groaning when he was cut off yet again by a yawn from Velvet, followed quickly by a sound of protest from Coco when the former moved a bit.

Velvet didn't actually open her eyes until she realized that there was a pair of eyes on her, at which point she panicked and scrambled out of the bed, prompting a weak groan of "Don't leeeave," from coco, who was still half asleep.

It wasn't until Fox asked, "So what's the whole story here?" that Coco got up, and realized Velvet was huddled in the corner of her own bed, blushing furiously with her face buried in a pillow. While Yatsuhashi helped Fox find his wallet, and put together what fully happened and blushed a bit herself.

Even though Coco knew what Fox meant, she couldn't help but ask, on the off chance she was wrong, "What do you mean?"

"Well, what happened first of all? And are you two like, together?"

Velvet just about collapsed in on herself at that last part, and hoped Coco would answer, which she did. "Well, as I understand it, Velvet had a nightmare and decided to ask if she could sleep in my bed for the night. I couldn't say no, now could I?" At that Fox nodded, she had a valid point, "As for your other question," she looked over at Velvet, "what do you say? Wanna be 'like, together'?"

With her head still buried in her pillow, Velvet barely managed to squeak out a muffled "Y-yes..."

"Then yes, Fox, we are 'like, together'"
