The one, and only, Author's Note:

First and foremost, I would like to thank all you new readers who have found this story! Allow me to inform you that this story was originally six chapters long though, due to life and it's funny way of creeping up on people, I ended up going on a hiatus...that lasted three years. Being that I'm a Naruto fan, I'm just gonna say that I went on a training trip with a perverted toad sage. Yeah, that's it. -insert shifty eyes here-

Anyway, continuing where I left off, this story used to be six chapters long however I recently returned because I was doing some reading of other fics on the site in my down time at work and soon came back to my account. This story has always been one that's been on my mind that I've wanted to revisit even as I am currently writing my own book now but I never really had the drive to return. I gave an update giving my apologies and explaining what has happened. I remember reading through my story as well and just cringing, wanting to rewrite many a portion to flow much more smoothly and allow for more character and story build up and development. From there I decided to take it one step further and gauge the interest in this story with a quick survey and a view of how many people the update would draw. Surprisingly? It was a massive hit in terms of views for one day, at least in my opinion, and the response to the survey was absolutely stunning. To say that I wanted to get back to it was an understatement. I am so glad to have viewers like you all to support my passion for writing.

Now I would like to address my old faithful readers and followers who have been left in the dark for so long with no update. Thank you most of all for being the first people to generate such an interest. I apologize for not getting an update to you sooner but I hope with this revision of the story that you can forgive me and appreciate the more polished story. Please continue to support me and continue being the amazing people that you are.

Lastly, I want to address a few things that will be changing and some things that will stay the same:

-First, and foremost, I do not need to say that I do not own the series and the characters so, like I said at the beginning of the original version of this fiction, I will not be putting a disclaimer. As a work of fiction on a site known as Fanfiction dot net? I'm fairly certain the creators know my story has no bearing on their property.

-Second, as the title of this Author's Note suggests, I will not be placing an Author's Note at the start, or end, of every chapter. I will admit this one was a bit hard for me as I did like to call out reviewers and provide some answers and fun dialogue between myself and those who read my story however in the interest of keeping this as a more true to form story or book? I will be doing away with it.

-Third, and finally, I appreciate any and all constructive criticism and feedback! However, I will not tolerate bashing. Be it the fic, the characters portrayal, the pairings, etc. If you have a fic you prefer to read? Then please read it. If you think the characters aren't acting correctly or how you imagined they would? Then please think of a constructive way to provide that feedback while also keeping in mind that this is an alternate universe. If you think your pairing is the superior pairing? Then please find a work that supports that pairing. I support you in liking your pairing so please support those who like this one.
