A/N – This is my second one shot. It is also based on a song I heard once on the radio (a really long time again.
Beautiful Day: Bella Swan
by Selinnium
Rain, yet again. Bella thought.
Relating "wet" and "climate" to Forks is neither strange nor uncommon. Even so, it is not a welcomed guest. Green moss was on almost all the tree trunks. One could barely make out the brown underneath all that junk. Maybe if moss stays on the surface of bark long enough, the brown turns green. It could be possible in such a dreary place, anything could be possible; Edward proved it to her.
The thought of rain and dreariness depressed her. That of course was before Bella had fallen in love with Edward. Edward is her day and her night. He is in her consciousness and her unconsciousness. Every thought relates to Edward in some way or the other. Making a long story short; Edward is her everything. He is her air and life.
With the thought of that, Bella smiled towards the sky. If she were lucky enough, a sun might poke through after the shower and emit a rainbow. If she were not so lucky – which she normally isn't – at least it will be a beautiful day with Edward by her side.
Bella drove in the direction of the school and turned on the ancient radio in her truck. A song came on. She had never heard it before then. It had a catchy tune to it. However what stuck with her was the lyrics. She recited them in her head over and over again as she drove. When she reached the school parking lot. It was raining harder than ever and freezing cold. Bella took a deep breath and stepped out of her red truck. She expected to be weighed down by the cats and dogs raining down the moment her boots touched the ground. Instead she remained dry. Confused, Bella looked up and saw bright yellow fabric with metal skeletons supporting it.
Umbrella? Where had that come from?
"Morning, love." A velvety voice said from beside Bella.
Bella jumped. "Edward!" She hugged Edward. This truly is a beautiful day. Without knowing it, Bella started singing the song she heard on the radio softly.
"I'm in love it's a beautiful day, I'm in love it's a beautiful way. I don't care what the weather man say; it's a beautiful day."
"Bella?"
"Yes?"
"I love you."
A/N – Yes, that was really short. It was actually an idea I had in the middle of the night (when all my other genius ideas dwell). I was half asleep then but when I awoke the next morning, I had fragments of the idea of what this one shot is going to be about. Unfortunately I still cannot remember the entire chunk of it so I just wrote down what I could think of along the way.
I highly recommend that you listen to the song Beautiful Day by DJ Melodie. Find whatever way you can to get it(YouTube would help).
I did not pay as much attention to the technical side of things this time (but I proofread it). I was tired after a long day. I hope you liked it and I would really appreciate it if you were to review.
