The Only Kill Riza Doesn't Regret
There was burning rubble everywhere. Through the sight on her scope she could see the blood pouring from the bodies she'd killed, staining the sand a deeper color. She did her typical sweep when off in the distance she spotted something yellow. It was odd, something yellow in a desert like this.
She adjusted her scope to see the horror of civilized life standing there in the open. He must have wondered into this anime by mistake. She had a clear shot, but should she shoot? Spongebob Squarepants was a favorite of many youngsters though out the world. She contemplated this for a split second before the sponge fell to the ground. It had no blood but she knew it was dead from his eyes that were now X's and his tongue flopping down on the ground.
That night at dinner, she thought about it. That was the only kill she would never regret.
