Hi guys! This idea was in collaboration with Badtesseract and I have decided to start writing it. Shoutout Nyx, if you've got any ideas for the plot let me know!

Potential OOC warning

I must ask: why would JK Rowling be on FanFiction at midnight? I'm obviously not her. Haha

(Albus)

Slytherin.

The word resounded in Albus Potter's head as he sat frozen on the stool. It was deafening in the silence of the Great Hall, as all five tables - the staff too - sat frozen, stunned.

A Potter. In Slytherin.

Hadn't it happened before? A Black in Gryffindor? But this was different.

Albus felt a stirring inside of him in that moment, when he stood. A cold smile spread over his face as he took careful, quiet steps towards the Slytherin table. The Hat had seen inside of him, hadn't it? And he clearly hadn't fought enough.

Because he felt now that it was right, there was something ... alluring ... about Slytherin. Green, silver, darkness, cold. He had it in him to be great. Like his father never did. And as he thought that, something changed inside him...

"You could be great, you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin could help you on your way to greatness, you know... but if you're sure..."

Sitting at the Slytherin table amongst cheers from his fellows (although the rest of the hall wasn't so happy), Albus shook his head violently. That was what had happened to Harry, not him. His father had had those words spoken in his ear, not him. And yet he'd seen it as clearly as if he had experienced it himself.

Leglimens. The word whispered in his head, and although it made him shudder, Albus knew the evidence was there. He'd had the Harry's-life flashbacks many times. He'd read his father's mind... not that, as Snape, his second-namesake, would agree. But it was true. Albus Severus Potter, a Leglimens. He could do the one thing that Voldemort had done to almost destroy Harry, his father.

Slytherin.

Slytherin indeed.

(Delphi)

Albus, who was to be in a sort of daze, sat next to her on the Slytherin table. He didn't seem to notice that he was sitting next to anyone in particular. But she'd make him notice.

Draw in the prey. Her father's words reverberated in her mind.

Oh, he'd notice her.
