A/N: This a small AU one shot that I randomly wrote on the train. Thanks to my awesome beta BMG for reading my randomness and making it fantastic as always
Rose was devastated that she had once again used the cannon, despite the damage it caused, and had missed the Doctor again, or in this case was unable to save him. That stupid Donna Noble; it was all her fault. Rose had the urge to smack her but she knew that Donna would probably deck her, and besides, she needed her to go back and fix it. If Rose had her way she would just look into the heart of the TARDIS again, but without the Doctor the TARDIS wouldn't work.
"Rose, quick! Come and look at this," Steve shouted at her.
Rose ran to see Steve looking through the open TARDIS doors. Jogging up to him, Rose was surprised to see the TARDIS console pulse faintly before stopping.
Looking at Steve in surprise, Rose asked, "What the hell just happened?"
"I don't know. One minute I was talking on the phone to Major Johnson and I happen to mention Donna Noble and the doors just flung open. Then it pulsed brightly, it then faded down, and then stopped," Steve replied.
Looking at the console in confusing, Rose scratched her head. Why was it reacting to Donna when she was human?
It happened two more times and annoyed Rose to no end.
In annoyance, Rose began tearing into the TARDIS, so that they could make the teleport device to send Donna back to stop herself from turning right.
As they were hooking Donna up, Rose gave her the instructions on what she must do.
"Can I ask you a question?" Donna suddenly asked.
"Sure," Rose said, not really wanting to talk to her but doing it because it was the polite thing to do.
"When did you first begin to take the TARDIS apart?" Donna asked.
Looking at her in surprise, Rose thought for a second before replying, "About a month ago. Why?"
"Just wondering," Donna replied, as she realised that was about the time she got that terrible ache all throughout her body, like she was being torn apart.
"Was the TARDIS sentiment?" Donna asked suddenly.
"I think so, but I don't really know or care at the moment," was Rose's annoyed reply.
Donna stared at her in shock and had to hide the disgust she felt at the fact that this girl had murdered the TARDIS and didn't even seem to care. When Donna meets this Doctor, she and him were going to have words.
While Rose was distracted, Donna stroked the machinery on her body in apology, and couldn't wait to be away from here.
