First oneshot! pretty short, but i had this idea and just couldn't get it outta my head, so I wrote this:)
Beauty.
Normal pov
It was New Year's Eve, and the foresters, ely's and kenworthys were having a bonfire at river bend. Everything was set up, and the guests were just arriving.
Sam pov
Hair, check; normal pony tail and flyaways slightly curled. Make up, check; little light green eyeshadow, and lip gloss. Outfit, check; jeans, and a button up green plaid shirt, tied to the side (if this makes sense.. It does in my mind lol) and of course,my boots.
I was completely ready. As I walked down the porch steps I saw the ely's riding in out if the corner of my eye. I smiled and waved to them before walking into the barn to give tempest the carrot I saved her. "Shhhh Xanadu, don't tell ace." I whispered as walking out of the barn. What I saw as I walked out shocked me and I almost gasped.
Jake pov
My family was just riding over the bridge when I saw sam. Gosh, she was beautiful. She smiled and waved at us the disappeared into the barn.
"Wow, Sammy's beautiful isn't she jake?" Quinn said.
A set up. Great. My brothers are constantly trying to get me to admit my feelings for Sam.
"I've seen better" I snapped. I didn't mean for it to come out so mean, but I'm sick of them always putting me in uncomfortable situations. Really, i haven't seen anyone more gorgeous than Sam. Thud.
"What the crap?!" Sam screeched. She ran over to us and looked at Quinn. We stayed silent and my brothers still looked shocked.
"We'll is someone gonna explain why Quinn just gave my best friend a black eye?!"
Nate retold the conversation and Sam looked shocked then a bit disappointed. Disappointed?
"Quinn, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You shouldn't have punched jake. "
I don't think Sam heard, but I heard Quinn mumble under his breath," and sometimes the beholder needs a black eye to be reminded of what beauty looks like. "
