After a grueling battle with Ganon, and the most dangerous run he has ever had, Link decides it's time for some R & R. On his way to the Kokiri forest, Epona suddenly stops when she sees the Zora that is in the way. The Zora runs right up to Link and asks, "I need to go to Zora's Domain. May I please ride with you on your horse?"
"Of course!" Navi replies.
Now, of course Link doesn't like that because he wants to sleep, but he doesn't have much choice and moves forward on the seat. "Heeyah!" Link yells while he gives Epona a nudge to get her going.
As they approached, they saw the entire Zora population weeping, especially the princess. When they got there, they saw why. King Zora was on the ground with a knife through his stomach.
"Noooooo! King Zora!!!" The Zora Link saw the Zora that had been on Epona had slid off and was now racing to the king's side.
"Link!" the princess called, "You must find Skullkid! He stole the sacred artifact of the Zoran's; it has the power to bring the moon down to earth! He went towards the Kokiri forest, find him and get that artifact back!!"
Epona galloped toward the Kokiri forest while Link and Navi held on for dear life.
"I see him!" Navi exclaimed.
Skullkid hadn't gone into the Kokiri forest; instead, he had veered a little to the right and kept running. All of a sudden, he disappeared! Link urged Epona on, but when they got to the spot where they had last seen Skullkid, there wasn't anything there.
"Hey? Where'd he go?" Navi asks Link. "I dunno!" Link replies, "He's gotta be around here som---" Link gets the sensation of zero G, then the world goes black…
