[I own none of the characters; they all belong to J.K Rowling.]

Percy stood at the edge of the cliff near the Black Lake, slowly inching himself closer to the end of his troubles. He couldn't stand it much longer. He had been bullied, beaten and told he would never be normal, like anyone else. He had taken twenty five years of it and he couldn't bear it any longer. He had been the cause of his brother's death. He had caused his brother so much pain for the loss of his twin. If only he had kept his mouth shut, it wouldn't have happened. He regretted ever being born into a family that obviously was better off without him. He stepped closer to the edge, everything he thought was horrible. It was all reeling in his mind, "My family won't need me. They don't care about me…I'm doing them a favor." He stepped closer, certain death growing dangerously near. Soon there would be no turning back, only a few more steps and it's over. He had to think it over, obviously it wasn't rational to do this…but…who would he be hurting? Everyone was still mourning Fred; no one would know he was gone. He looked over the edge, the water moving dangerously hundreds of feet below. If the fall didn't kill him, maybe he would just drown…or maybe the sea creatures would take him. "Hurry up…it's now or never, you know they won't care, Just jump already!" He took another step closer, the wind picking up enough to push him a little further. He was at the edge; "One more step…" he thought. He looked down again, tears starting to block his vision, his conscience was screaming for him to step back, but he didn't want to listen. "Go…walk…" He kept telling his feet to move, but they wouldn't, he couldn't go any further, he tried to but was pulled back by something. He took a few steps back and collapsed in the grass, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Why couldn't you do it Percy? Why are you so weak?"

"You aren't weak Perce…"

Percy looked up, he thought he heard something. His mind must be playing tricks on him, it wasn't right. He managed to stand; he stood there for a moment before backing away and going home. He wasn't able to sleep at all that night or the next. He just sat and thought; he hadn't said that, someone else had…but who? He sat all night and thought about what was said…

"You aren't weak Perce…"
