Hope is a lover's staff -Plato
On the Hogwarts Express, it was love at first sight. From that moment onwards, he vowed to win her over one day… finally gathering a handful of those 'mysteriously vanishing' courage, James shouted, "Hey Evans, will you go out with me?"
Every single one of her cold rejections stung his heart, though he didn't show it, the pain of knowing the love of your life, your soul mate, totally despising you is unbearable. Drenched in agony, he had shed silent teardrops that no one knew. Yet he clung to it, the glimmer of hope, diminishing with every denunciation from her…but he loved her true, and persisted…the hope guided him through all these years, and though it has been crushed countless times, it thrived yet still.
In the empty corridor, the raven-haired boy rushed to help the emerald-eyed witch pick up her fallen books. He handed a thick tome to her, and their eyes briefly met as he spoke the accompanying words, "Lily, will you go out with me?"
She saw for the first time the sincerity behind those hazel orbs, the love, the pain, and the sparkle of hope. Pity stirred in her gentle heart and she slowly muttered, "Yes…"
Sigh...I'm finding myself at a similar situation as James...I do hope it will work out the same way for me as it did with him...
oh, if you have time on your hands, review if possible.
