A normal day at Shibuya Psychic Research, where Mai was working part time."Mai tea!" Naru shouted."Hai, Hai, in a moment!" Mai shouted back. Mai sighed, tea ... of course ... now again. With rapid and confident movements Mai made Naru his tea, and within minutes she was outside his office and knocking softly on his door. A grunt was heard in response and Mai opened the door and went inside."Naru, your tea," said Mai and putted the tea on his desk. Mai peered up against Naru who was clearly engrossed in his book. He was so handsome when he sat silently like that and reading that Mai felt herself blush."Was it something you wanted or were you going to stare at my handsome face all day?" Naru asked with a smirk as he looked up at her. Mai became red in the face of anger and scowled something about he being a jerk and quickly rushed out of his office. Naru watched her leave with soft eyes before he took a sip from his tea and returned to his book.

"You know it wouldn't kill you to be nice to her" his brother scowled softly at him in his head.

"I know, but it's just so much fun watching her getting so worked up" Naru mused and Gene sighed.

"You're pretty mean dear brother and if you don't make a move soon she is going to leave you" Gene said and it made Naru frown, now that was a thought he really didn't like.

"You think she would?" Naru asked softly with hint of sadness.

"Who knows, the question is would you risk it?"

"Fine, fine" Naru said and closed his book a bit annoyed, he wasn't good at all this touchy feeling stuff and his brother new that.

"Noll, just tell her you like her" Gene advised and with a sigh Naru stood up from his chair and walked out of his office to find Mai.

Naru found Mai sitting on the couch still muttering to herself and before she could react, Naru leaned forward to Mai and whispered in her ears.

"Thanks"

"Na-Naru!" Mai cried and jumped up from the couch and her face was beat red from embarrassment and Naru couldn't stop himself from smirking.

"You know you look adorable when your embarrass" Naru said and walked closer to Mai who in turn backed away.

"Naru what are y--… are you possessed?" Mai asked shakily as she backed in to the wall behind her and Naru were now right in front of her.

"No, just making it clear that you'll never leave here… or me", he said with a smile that made Mai's heart melt.

"What are y-you s-say--" Naru cut her of whit pressing his lips gently at hers and Mai' eyes went huge before closing and she slowly began to return the kiss and she could feel him smirk against her lips before making the kiss more passionate. After a couple of minutes they broke apart due to air loss and stared lovingly in each others eyes.

"You're mine" Naru whispered huskily and before Mai could answer he had locked her lips with a new breath taking kiss, not that Mai was complaining as she felt herself run one of her hands through his black hair and the other hand griped his shirt making him come closer.

Unknown to them a couple of seconds later the rest of the team would walk through the door and when seeing them they would tease and ask never stopping question and Naru would growl at them for interrupting and Mai would blush from embarrassment, but for now they were just lost in their kiss and love for each other.

´Well took you long enough´ Gene thought amusedly with a smile as he watched his brother making out with the girl he had loved for a long time, though he never would admit it. As long they were happy he himself were pleased.
