He couldn't stop thinking about her. He set the papers he had been looking at down.
"What's wrong minion"
"I don't know, when you and Ms. Richie started... dating did you have any problems with… things"
Megamind's eyes got large and he cautiously asked "what kinds of… things"
"Concentrating on what you're doing"
The look of relief that washed over his face was apparent "oh … those kinds of things"
"What did you think I …" he blushed "o, never mind"
"Yes, it didn't take much of anything and she would pop in my head… all I wanted to do was be with her"
"Yea, that's what I having problems with"
Megamind patted his friend on his furred shoulder "that's normal I hear. Roxanne said she had the same problem with me as Bernard. and again when she found out it was me… that really confused her "
"Do you think she thinks of me too?"
"How can she not you're a fantastic fish"
I was sitting in front of the TV bored it was on animal planet at the moment the animal cops were busting a guy who owned horses and wasn't talking of them. I was absentmindedly doodling on a pad of paper on my lap. A defiant theme showing up yes I thought about him. my mechanical fingers putting thoughts on paper without even realizing it.
The timer went off and I went to get the meal out of the oven I had set it on the counter and turned off the oven when I looked up the guys were in the living area Megamind was smiling and had picked up the remote to turn off the TV minion was staring gaped mouthed at the pad of paper that Megamind had handed him
"Oh wow" looking at the little drawings of himself
"Told you"
He looked up at me surprised I gave him a sheepish grin
