Greetings Brochachos and Brochachas! I bet you weren't expecting this! Well you should've! I've decided to rewrite this one shot since I feel it's not really good enough compared to what I'm writing nowadays and I wanted to pay a tribute to my first time writing on this site... Wattpad is kinda stoopid...
TO THE ONE SHOT!
Panic...
That was all my mind could register once it happened. It went down so fast... Yet it was so easy to see...
A pain shot through my spine as the club swiftly struck his jaw, he went flying through the air and landed only a few feet from me, a thin trail of blood dripping down his chin...
And now I held him in my arms, cradling him like a small baby and whispering in his ear that it would all be okay. He lay there so peacefully in my arms, like he was just asleep, breathing steadily and stirring slightly.
I was... Angry... My entire soul was flooded with the desire for vengeance... And that's what I would get...
I slowly put Marco down, placing him gently against the sidewalk, I stood up and tightened my grip around the wand. "Ludo... Can I ask you something?", my back was turned but I could feel the fearful gazes of Ludo and his minions. I listen to Ludo's nervous jittering as he struggled to come up with the right words.
"I-I suppose... What do you want to a-ask?" His fear smelt glorious... Like fresh meat roasting over a fire...
"Have you ever read the Bible?" I could practically imagine Ludo twisting his head in confusion, "N-no... I haven't... Why?" I snickered under my breath as I turned to face him. Ludo's Minions stepped back in fear when they saw my face, clearly my bright smile was a horror to them.
"Because silly!" I exclaim cheerfully, I skip over to his side and kneel down so I could make eye contact with Ludo. "People who follow the Bible have a motto, it's actually very well known..." He stepped back slightly and sucked in a nervous breath. "Wh-Whats the m-motto...?" I snickered once again as I stood up, my smile fading as my eyes becoming dark.
"An eye for an eye..."
Before Ludo could react, I swung my wand into his jaw so hard that the crack could be heard from a mile away. Ludo screamed over the pavement as he struggled to stand back up, his feet slipping in the puddle of blood below him. I grab Ludo by the back of his shirt and lifted him to eye level.
"Stay... Away..." I whisper, my tone was darker than my gaze as I ripped open a portal with my dimensional scissors. Without hesitation, I tossed Ludo straight into the dimensional-gateway. I turned back to face his minions, who apparently got the memo and ran straight into the portal, closing it behind them.
Now it was just me and Marco again... His mouth has stopped bleeding but his jaw was so unaligned... It was like looking at a loose puzzle piece... I kneel next to Marco and place my wand against his mouth and it begins to glow a bright pink, I whisper the words "Mending heart touch" and sit back, watching as his jaw slowly slipped back into place.
Now I just sat there... Waiting for the sweet sounds of Marcos voice...
"St-Star?" he mumbled, opening his eyes and looking in my direction. With tears welling in my eyes, I grip Marco into the tightest hug I've ever given, not daring to let go...
He was here... He was alright...
And I wouldn't want it any other way...
