A flash of lightning lit up the sky. It was raining hard. We were on the roof of the building by my school, in front of the old football field. It was me, Kat, and Jason against Bruce, Lib and Tim.
"I never thought it would come to this!" yelled over booming thunder. "Well, expect the unexpected." Lib smirked. "Exactly." I smiled. My best friend Cody jumped out from behind a wooden box thing and attacked Tim.
The next thing I knew, we were all fighting. I tackled Bruce and pushed my sword through his flesh. "BRUCE!" Lib yelled, running towrds me, ready to kill me. I looked over to see Kat struggling with Tim. I had to help. I ran over and flipped onto Tim's shoulders. "Bye." I said, stabbing him once in the chest and once in the head. He let out one last screm of pain. "Hey, Maz." Lib said I looked over to see her standing over bloody Jason and a crowbar in her hand. I instantly felt my body heat up in fury. I charged at her, not caring about anything but destroying her. I could tell in her face she regretted what she had done instantly, because she knew she was about to die. She started walking bcwards rapidly, stumbling. She fell aon the concrete with a thud, and I placed a foot on her chest. Lightning flashed and a blinding light appeared. When Lib's eyes refocused, I was n her face. "Maz don't do something you'll regret!" Lib said, struggling. "Looks like you already did." I whispered, both of us glancing at the bloody Jason. "good night." I said, piercing my sword into her stomach.
I stood up and walked over to Jason and bent down. "Take care of yourself, Maz." He said I started crying, knowing he was dying. He placed a bloody hand on my cheek I grbbed it and held it. "I love you" He said. "Jason don't do this to me!" I wailed. "I'm sorry Maz... oh and please stay away from crowbars for me." And those were the last words Jason Peter Todd ever said. I was crying my eyes out as I gently kissed his cheek. I stood up and noticed I was the only one still alive. "Cody! Kat!" I yelled, running to them to investigate. Batarangs were in both of thier necks. "Bruce must have done it before I killed him" I thought aloud. I walked to the edge of the building. "Look at us, dead because of something childish and utterly stupid, now we are seperated by it, We were once together, but now never again will we ever see one another I love all of you." I said with tears streaming down my face, I took one more glane at Jason, jumped off the roof and ran out into the stormy night.
