It had been months since Breakdowns signal went offline, leaving Knockout to care for their two children. With his mate gone, taking care of the kids and being a good medic got harder. He had no partner, helper, or mate.
One day Knockout left the kids in the care of Gary. "Soundbarrier, make shure you and your brother keep out of trouble for Gary. Okay?" The little femmling hugged her father. "I will daddy." Knockout then handed the trustworthy vehicon his sleeping son, Sundog. Then he left for work.
When he got there Soundwave called him over to a computer. Knockout came over. Soundwave used one of his dainty digits to show Knockout a life signal. "It's a life signal Soundwave, so what?" Soundwave tapped the screen. Knockout gave in and read the signal. It was Breakdowns. "Lord Megatron. It seems Breakdown's signal is back online."
"Send a ground bridge to his coordinates Soundwave." Said the dark war lord. The tecknishion did so and a ground bridge opened at a military base. Knockout was ordered to go threw to see if Breakdown was neer.
When he did he saw his partner. He was tattered and scared. The patch that he had put on was ripped off, exposing the optic below. "Breakdown?" The blue bot looked at him. "I am Silas...take me to your leader" Knockout scoffed and ushered him threw the bridge.
Once they were inside 'Silas' had a talk with Megatron. He offered up a satellite called 'DINGIS'. Once the talk was over Knockout was furious "Lord Megatron, please allow me to..." before he could finish his sentence his children came running through the door. "DADDY!" They hugged Silas's new peds.
"You've created children?" He asked with curiosity. Sundog put his hands up. "Up daddy, up!" He lifted the small golden mech into his arms. "Daddy where did you go?"
Silas felt a pang in his heart. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing to them. The children had no clue. Knockout walked over and picked up the little blue femme. "Soundbarrier, Sundog..." they both looked at their father. "That isn't your father."
Sundog looked at Silas and touched his faceplate, then sniffed his neck. "It feels and smells like daddy, papa K." Silas was the next to speak "I'm not your father Sundog. I am a human using your father..." he put the young mech down, whom then ran and had behind Knockouts peds and started to cry "I want daddy Breakdown!"
Silas looked at the family. Knockout shot him a look "Get out!" It said. Silas turned and walked out of the room. Sundog's cries still ringing in his ears.
