The Story of a Girl
Disclaimer: I do not own Fred. I do not own Angel. They belong to Mutant Enemy and Joss Whedon and all those other peeps.
There was a really smart girl who lived in a cave
In a place where she was but a slave
How she longed to go home, a place safe and serene
How she longed to sink her teeth into some Mexican cuisine
She was there five long years, so far away from home,
Five long years all alone
Till the day she was gonna be decapitated,
Then a man came and soon she was elated
For "handsome man" saved her from the monsters, you see,
And took her back with him to the big city
In his hotel, she stayed for weeks
Seeing of the outside world only a few peeks
She kept to her room, writing on the walls
About many things like physic's laws,
And the story of a girl who lived in a cave
In a place where she was but a slave.
Then one day her parents came
A giant bug they had to maim,
And the girl, well, she was really brave
And her parents and her comrades she did save
And her parents understood she had to stay
She'd fit in here, though far away
She was happy here, living the dream
She was part of something, part of a team
So they helped her paint over her stories
To make room for new memories,
So she stayed with her friends through and through
And this story I'm telling you
Goes on and on, it has no real end
This story of a girl and her newly-found friends.
