Disclaimer: Nope.
A/N: This is just . . . . I'm not really sure.
She wants Red John dead. It's just a fact. She wants him dead. She doesn't want him in prison, she doesn't even want him in a goddamned court room. Despite all her pretence, she wants him dead. If she's there when Jane finds him, if she's there and she can stop Jane from killing him . . . she's not sure she will. She's not sure she could. If she found out, today, that Red John had died, she'd be happy. She'd try to be professional, but inside she'd be ecstatic. And if she knew that it had been painful, even if she'd watched it, she wouldn't feel any mercy. When she looks at Patrick Jane, and sees the inner turmoil and torment, she could kill him herself. Easily. She could rip him from limb to limb without any guilt. And that terrifies her. So she lies, and talks of justice. She'll never admit that she thinks justice would be Red John dying alone and in agony. Because Jane's bloodlust doesn't scare her. Hers does.
Well?
