*The whole story is from Herobrine's POV*
I opened my eyes and glanced around the room. Morning had come, but I really didn't want to get out of bed. It was so comfortable. Plus, no one would bother me if I stayed here. I wouldn't have to face the world.
Wrong, if I didn't get up people would come looking for me. I cursed at myself for thinking that I would ever be left alone, and reluctantly got up.
Morning light shown through the curtains. Or at least whatever morning light exists in the Nether. I stretched and yawned. The dawn of a new day. Time to get ready. I grabbed some clothes and headed for the bathroom.
My daily wardrobe consisted of a teal t-shirt and blue jeans. I never even considered wearing anything else. Staring at the mirror, I brushed my hair into its normal style and studied my eyes.
Everyone says that I have strange eyes. I don't deny it. They are bright white to the point where they look like they glow. Maybe they do glow, it's hard to tell. I'm not ashamed of them but that doesn't mean I like them. Sometimes I just want to be like everyone else.
In the kitchen, I searched my pantry for something to eat for breakfast. The was a knock at the door and a familiar voice called my name.
"It's open 303" I yelled. My friend walked in, his red eyes glowing with excitement.
"Hey Brine, want to have a mock fight today? Just for fun. The players love it."
303 and I are best friends. We just fight a lot because it scares the players, and we think that's funny.
"Nah, we did that yesterday."
"What do you want to do today then?" he asked.
"I don't know" I responded. An idea suddenly dawned on me. "How about we take the day off?"
"And do what?"
"Build, play minigames. You know, normal player stuff."
"Ok, sounds cool" 303 said thoughtfully, "Where and how do we do that though?"
"Good question 303" I sighed, "Good question."
