The Strange Night!

It was dusk and the park had just closed but a young girl named Abbey was still at the park. She saw a lanky figure lurking within the shadows. "W-who are y-you," Stuttered young Abbey. "Why I shall be Josh and I work here. The better question is what are you doing here alone?"

"I ditched my parents they had boring things on the agenda!" After that a serene silence fell over both Abbey and Josh. Two ravenous growls broke the peaceful silence. Two seconds later an eerie silence fell over them again.

"Get us o-out!" Little did neither Abbey nor Josh know that once you're in your not getting out.

"I forgot, well I lost my keys." Out of the shadows peered a pair of sky blue eyes and a pair of chocolate brown eyes.

"Look a puppy and a b-bear!" Meanwhile an Australian shepherd or Aussie later to be known as Sally and a Grizzly Bear named Chime came out of the bushes.

"They are g-going to e-eat us," Abbey screamed in terror.

"No, they are going to get us out." As Josh spoke Chime chomped on the gate. "Yes, we are free.'' As Abbey spoke these four words with clarity, the alarms went off boisterously. Abbey was frozen in place with terror.

"Come on, let's go," Josh hollered over the screeching alarms. Abbey's reply was a nervous yelp. Sally who was frightened by the noise let out a shallow bark, as Chime who also seemed frightened let out a low, dark and eerie growl.

All of a sudden everything seemed to have disappeared. Abbey felt alone as if she has been trapped in a tiny box with no way out. Abbey was brought back to the world when something cold hit her neck. When she looked around she noticed everyone was still there but the alarms were off.

"W-what happened?"

"I figured out how to shut the alarms off," exclaimed Josh!

"What happened to m-me just then?"

"You fell asleep," explained Josh.

FLASH! BANG! A shiver and a whine came from both Sally and Chime. "

I know a way out," stated Josh. As he says this he jumps up, grabs a branch and starts moving through the trees.

"Y-you're an assassin!" As Abbey looks clearly at Josh for the first time she notices him in a white hooded cloak and a sword across his back and a hidden blade on his wrist.

"Does that mean Sally and Chime are your sidekicks?"

"Yes, now let's go." If Abbey makes it back to her campsite she will never ditch her parents again.
