Prologue
Percy POV
Sometimes life isn't just what you expected. Like, for example, after the war, I had expected my life to be drama-free. All of my hope went ka-boom when Annabeth got to be an architect for designing celebrity's mansion. At first, I thought it would be fine, since it was her dream job. Then, day by day she gradually began to forget everything. Our anniversary, I waited at the restaurant for 5 hours without eating and the waiters were looking at me funny. Then I thought, ' I can't stand this anymore! Annabeth is starting to forget our datesand I'm going to find out why!'
So I came to her newly-built house and found her sucking face with Justin Bieber! I then said to myself that I'm gonna give her up because she's not worth all the risks I endured just for her. So I went back to camp and found Alex, my new half-brother with a huge ego as big as the universe, being adopted by the gods. They're all saying stuff like,'You are the greatest hero ever!' My dad was even claiming him as his favourite son. All the gods looked very pleased except for Artemis. I don't know why but she had a faraway look on her delicate face. Then I decided to let it go and visit my mom but when I arrived there, my mom kicked me out of the house. She said,'I don't want you to hurt my baby because you attract monsters!'
So my will broke and I set out to find a new life. When I was walking in the woods, a black vortex appeared in front of me. Out stepped a man with eyes like stars and a body like it was made of Earth. He said,'Perseus Jackson, I am Chaos, creator of the universe and ruler of the Void. I came to tell you that I've watched you from afar and I intended on adopting you. Do you accept my offer to a new life?' I of course said yes. He smiled and said a prayer. From then on, I was living in Alcamiz, a place out of the earth where people who lost their hope and was adopted by Chaos, being the god of loyalty, bravery and fate. I being the king of the Alcan gods are allowed to go anywhere I want. So I went to find someone to become my queen. When I was walking in the woods before, I bumped into Artemis. When she saw me she literally jumped on me and muttered words like 'I miss you' and she confessed to me that she loves me. I finally found my queen. I told her why I was gone and how to get to Alcamiz. I thought that she might leave me because I'm not Greek anymore but she isn't, she was actually happy that I was not a Greek anymore. Ever since they adopted Alex, he's been bossing around every god and realised their mistake and set out to find me. Now that she knows that I'm in Alcamiz, I'm afraid that she might tell the rest of the Olympians. But my wife and queen turns out to be the kindest woman ever lived. She said that it was all their mistake and they don't deserve to know where I am.
So 10000 years passed and I'm wedded secretly to Artemis. We have a daughter, Luna Marisabel, princess of Alcans, goddess of night and friendship. Artemis visits almost everyday. She didn't have to worry about her duty it will be done by Luna. She is the heir of moon. Since she is a goddess, she can be in different places at once. One on her duty, and the other one spending time with her family.
