A blue hedgehog zooms
Along a narrow path
Anyone who gets in his way
Shall surely face his wrath
Faster and faster he goes
Into the distance with a flash
Hardly anyone can keep up with
The speed of his dash
Speed is his greatest strength
And also his greatest weapon
He can travel great distances
Within just a few seconds
Everything becomes a blur
When traveling at fast speeds
To Sonic, quickness comes
At the greatest of ease
He shall grab many gold rings
As he runs at a fast pace
He must complete the zone quickly
To him, it's a race
So, robots must beware
Sonic's speed can't be beat
He'll mow down anything when he's traveling so fast
That he's nothing but a blue streak
