Summary: Bella and her mother have always been restless souls, but they are finally drawn back to their hometown in Arizona. What happens when on a hike Bella discovers a crack in the wall that may just lead to a completely new world?

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Twilight. I have simply manipulated them how I see fit. Thank you.

Prologue:

We hide behind the wall, silently trembling. I can nearly hear my own heart pounding in my chest. What will they do if they find us? I don't want to stick around long enough to find out. I put my shaking hand to my weapon and tense when I hear the pitter patter of steps slowly thumping their way near us. I turn around and I see bright green eyes that gleam with exhaustion and fear. These eyes comfort me and tell me that even if we're caught now, we're in this together. We'll have gone down fighting.

But all of the comfort and calm is ripped out of me when I hear a deep rumbling voice.

"We know you're here. And we'll never rest until we find you. Do you think your family is safe? Think again dear Bella. We will find you, and when we do, you'll wish you were never born."

Anger. Fear. Desperation. At this moment, I can't even form coherent thoughts. I can't stand stationary any longer. I burst into a manic sprint with Edward right on my tail. I don't understand where I'm running or what I'm going to do with myself. All I know is that if I don't keep running, they'll kill me.

A/N: So that's the prologue of this story. It's a peek into the middle of the story, so you can see that I'll try to make this filled with action. I haven't written in ages, so I'm a bit rusty. Please review and give me constructive criticism throughout the story! I really really hope you all will like the story. :)
