There was a thump. And then another. Eggman looked upward from his worktable, only to find a suspicious young man holding a staff.
"Who...who are you?" Eggman cautiously asked.
"Oh, you should know who I am." The young man grinned and pointed his staff at the rotund scientist. "I know exactly who you are. You're the one who attempted to control me. Now that you've made me shorter and left me in here, I fiddled with your machines, causing me to take this form. I'd have to thank you for that."
"I still have no idea who you are," Eggman eyed the figure suspiciously. "I've attempted controlling creatures many times, but I don't remember you. Besides, you're a human. What would I want to do with you? You may claim that this is just an alternate form, but it's not recognizable in the slightest."
"Haha, I was afraid you'd say that. However, not to worry, for it will only be a matter of time before you find out!" The young man cackled and disappeared in a familiar puff of smoke. Eggman was filled to the brim with questions, but since the peculiar individual was now gone, he could only hope for the man to return, and bring a few answers with him.
