A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE HELGHAST ARMY

CHAPTER 1:INTRODUCTION

The Helgan Army was established before the First Extrasolar war .Whent the First War began,despite numerical superiority,the troops were poorly trained,poorly equiped,poorly fed and they were under incompetent command .The much better equiped and trained UCA and ISA soldiers easily moved over open ground .After six years of war,the weary and moral-less Helghast soldiers were forced to surrender .During the following years,up to the Second Extrasolar War,the Helghast army,under the competent rule of Autarch Scolar Visari,rose up in to a unstopable force of well trained soldier .The army was divided in to three main branches

GROUND FORCES:

The backbone of the army mostly consisting of volunteers and fueled by patriotism

NAVY:

The Navy in the First War was made up of small and fast cruisers and medium naval ships wich prooved unafective againts the UCA and ISA massive Naval Cruisers .In the Second War they were transformed in to a massive fleet,comparable to the ISA fleet .

AIR FORCE:

Mostly consisted of fast,light and effective one-man flyers and transport ships and robotic A.T.A.C. flyers,mainly used as sentryes .
