What Becomes of

In order to survive, a warrior must fight and when the fighting concludes a warrior must die. A young man of the age of eighteen sleeps quietly under the protection of an old tree branch. He has spent the last years fighting for the life of his friend, whom dark force took. But the fight that took place two years ago didn't only take Sasuke, it took Sakura away. This young man dreams of the horrific day:

"Sakura please don't go!" A bloody still body of the once beautiful girl is embrace by hands unrecognized. "Open eyes, open your eyes!" Words are futile. Another young man, a figure of desperation crumbles in the shadows. His black hair is unmistakable as are his eyes, full with the Sharagin. Someone cries out. It could have been himself, but he lifts his head once again to see his old friend and now enemy, bending down, his hands squeezing his head. "I can't live like this anymore." It is then that he realized what he needs to do. "Naruto, help...him," the tender voice of the pink haired girl sounded so sweetly in his ears. He promised then and there that he would always cherish this wonderful person, "I will." Standing up to his full six feet, he'd grown over the last years, he headed toward his destiny, his final task of becoming a true ninja. He wouldn't hesitate anymore. "Sasuke, I will miss you." And with those words the tormented boy looked up, he never felt the sharp dagger that cut smoothly through his delicate neck.

"Sasuke!" The dream, it lingered like it had been yesterday that his friends had passed on. His deep blue eyes that had become darker with age held in the moisture that had promise to spill over just a few seconds ago. He felt it now, the presence. He could always feel her presence; she was never far from him. It comforts him to know she was still with him. Hinata.
