Natsu's Feelings:

Lucy is slowly developing feelings for Natsu...but what does Natsu think about love?

"It's obvious isn't it? He likes you!"

Natsu looked up. He saw Lucy and Mirajane talking at the bar.

"He likessssss you!" Happy repeated. Lucy didn't even bother anymore. It was almost a daily thing for Mirajane to talk about these things. "Loki is head over heels in love with you!" Oh, so this time it was Loki.

"Yeah, of course, Loki..." Lucy sighed. She decided to just ignore it and her eyes began to search for Natsu. There, she found him. "Natsu~! I'm going to fresh up a little at my place, I'll be back this evening, 'kay?"

"Yeah, sure..." he yawned a bit. Natsu looked really bored. Lucy shook her head. She made a mental note to choose a job quickly, or else Natsu would choose a rather dangerous or weird one...

Mirajane pouted a bit. Now Lucy was gone, she had no one to tease. So she had to choose her next victim. She chose Natsu.

"Natsu!" She waved and smiled and made it clear for him to come over. But of course, our Natsu didn't understand it at all.

"Haaah?"

"Come here, Natsu. I have to talk to you about something."

"Meh, not interested..." He hung his head a bit and yawned again.

"But... Oh, oh, that would work," she whispered and then louder she continued: "I have a secret to tell you!" Of course, this method worked. Natsu ran towards Mirajane.

"Nani nani? Have you heard 'bout a dragon or something?"

"No, not about something like that, another secret." Natsu tilted his head. "The secret of … love. Natsu, have you ever been in love?"

It took some time for Natsu to understand these words. Then he began to blush. "N-no of course not. H-haha. Hahaha..."

"Let me explain it to you. If you're in love, you really like a person."

"Like Igneel?"

"Yes! Wait, no! That's something different. You want to be with this person and..."

"I want to be with Igneel!"

"No, Natsu. I mean, yes, you want to be with that person but... You know.. you get a weird feeling when you see this person."

"A weird feeling?"

"Yes!" Mirajane nodded heavily. "Did you ever get a weird feeling when you saw... Lucy?"

"...Err... " Natsu thought for a bit and crossed his arms. Then he shook his head. "Nah, I don't think so. However, once I ate something very disgusting and Lucy-"

"No, no! Not THAT kind of weird feeling!" Mirajane face palmed. "Okay Natsu, listen up. Love is like... when the world stops when that person walks in. You think she's the most beautiful one out there and you want to hug her. Do you understand that?"

"H-hug her?"

"Yeah! Ok Natsu, let's find out whom you're in love with." Mirajane fixated her eyes on the door. Natsu followed her gaze, just when Erza came in.

"AND?" Mirajane almost yelled in excitement.

"Well, you're still moving. The world hasn't stopped."

"No, wait, Natsu! I mean-"

"AAHRG! Just QUIT it already! This is making my head hurt."

"Aw..." Mirajane pouted, but Natsu turned away from her, and after a while she began to continue her normal work, disappointed by the outcome of their conversation.

But suddenly, the world did stop. Nobody moved. Nobody but Natsu. And the girl that opened the guild door, and walked in.
