Author's Notes: I don't own Uglies. I wrote this when I was 12 – 13. I'm more into the Shay/David relationship than the Tally/David relationship. In fact, I wish Shay had ended up with David and Tally had ended up with Zane. That's just my opinion though.
Chapter 1: Feelings in UgliesWhen we were Uglies, when Tally and I first met, I thought we would be friends forever.
I wanted to introduce her to David, but then he never came here.
When Tally came to the Smoke, at first I was excited but then, when she started falling in love with David, I felt almost as if I had been stabbed in the gut.
He was my true love, not hers.
When the Specials attacked, she had not only betrayed me, but also betrayed everybody, including David.
It was her fault his father died. Her fault. Even then though, he didn't completely blame her.
When he accused her of being a spy, I thought he had stopped loving her. That wasn't true though.
