Mirror of Erised...What do you see?

After that worst moment in history, all Severus wanted was to be alone. He walked along the corridors, mumbling to himself about how much of an idiot he was for calling Lily a mudblood. Even after he tried apologizing a million and one times, Lily wouldn't have it. It looked like this was the end of their friendship. Then, as he was passing a closed-off archway, a door magically appeared. Severus turned his attention to it, and with curiosity in his favor, he pushed the door open and walked inside. It was a rather empty room, with a few desks and chairs stacked up in a corner or two. But what had caught his attention was a mirror across the way. It wasn't anything that he had seen before. He walked closer, so his unusually large hooked nose was just but a few inches from it. He looked up on the arch of the mirror reading, 'Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.' He stared at it for a moment longer until he understood completely what it meant. "I show you not your face but your hearts desire." He repeated to himself. And before he could rethink the meaning, a figure showed up behind him. It was a girl. A girl with gorgeous red hair, dazzling green eyes, and the sweetest smile. It was Lily. Severus swung his head around to see if his crush really was there, but was merely fooled, again. He frowned at the mirror, staring at the lovely girl wrapping herself around his dark body, kissing him on the cheek. Why couldn't this be real? Severus thought to himself as a single tear slid down his cheek. What happened next made Severus freeze up. He heard, from mirror Lily's voice, "I forgive you, Severus."
