The guard shoved the young girl & slammed the door.
Snape sneered & rolled eyes.
"Hope you likem young & fresh," the guard cackled while walking away.
The girl arose with a groan, walked over to mattress, sighed & sat down.
"Who are you?" Snape questioned watching the girl who is now is cellmate.
The girl looked at him with a questioning look, she could not believe he did not recognize her. With a sad sigh, she walked towards her cot & laid down.
Neither said a word but just let the silence of the cell blanket their senses.
7 hours
It has only been 7 hours since Snape's new cell mate was thrown in with him.
Was he annoyed, yes.
Would have had liked to be alone, yes.
However he was not in control anymore, they were, meaning the guard who were under the Dark Lords control.
Snape sighed & looked over at his cellmate. He grimace that it had to be female and not a male. He grimaced at that thought of what was the Dark Lord's motive by doing this to him.
Punishment? Punishment for lying to him about not being a spy for Dumbledore.
After the supposed Dark Lords death during the Battle of Hogwarts all thought they were saved. That Harry Potter had gained victory, but that was not the case.
For you see a hidden horcrux was stilled buried at Gringots & only one person was able to access it, someone who escaped before the battle began, Lucius Malfoy.
Yes, old Lucius who took his son & Narcissa, quickly left the castle & had hidden themselves away in Iceland for many years until the appropriate time came to release the last Horcrux.
It was a groan and sigh that snapped Snape out of his reminiscing thoughts to see his cellmate waking up from her slumber.
"How long have I've been asleep?" She questioned her cellmate.
"How am I supposed to know, what do I look like a clock," Snape sneered at the idiotic question.
"I apologize," She sighed & bowed her head.
The silence blanketed the cell again until the door opened, 2 plates of food & 2 goblets of water were placed inside.
Snape sneered at the food but drank the water instead.
The girl however stared at both but did nothing. She went back to laying down & facing the wall.
"You need to eat," Snape said "or at least drink."
"What for! There's nothing else to live for! My whole family is dead!" She said & fell back asleep.
Snape rolled his eyes at the foolishness that this child had just completed.
"Fine so be it. But I must warn you the rats notice food rather quickly," Snape smirked.
"And I guess bats do too," She sarcastically remarked.
Snape growled but did not respond. He continued to eat his stale moldy bread and salty water stew.
The day passed in silence & night began taking over the cell.
Both knew all they had time to do was wait & see what the new day awaits for them.
