LIKE SILENT SUPERHEROES

Sam grabbed the remote for the ancient-looking TV in their room, hit the volume button ratcheting up the sound.
Dean, stretched full length on the nearby bed, scowled and growled, "Dude, turn it down—tryin' to nap here."
"Ssshhh!" Sam waved a shooshing hand. "Listen. The local news is doing a remote in the woods outside of town."
"…where three bodies have been found. Sources tell us that the bodies have been drained of blood…"
"Damn," muttered Dean, "Don't suppose we can pretend we never heard that."
Sam gave him a fierce look.
Dean was up, reaching for his boots.
