Following the events of Dino Thunder, Tommy Oliver created and founded the Dr. Thomas Oliver Wild life preservation. He's rerecorded the History of Power Rangers video the Dino Thunder team had discovered every time he'd heard about a team. Now the Ninja Steel team has disbanded following the end of Super Ninja Steel, but a new team of rangers needs to emerge.
We see Milo, a tall, 5'11 Latino with dark hair and a birthmark on his left cheek in the shape of the Ninjastorm emblem, walking into the wildlife preservation to see about getting a job. He went straight to Tommy Oliver to ask for this job. "Milo Weller, class of 2004, attended my class." Tommy had recognized Milo, who else would forget his birthmark in the shape of the Ninjastorm emblem? Milo's eyes widened, "Dr T you remember me?" Tommy stands up walking to his office's window. "Of course. Nothing but A grades, but I noticed something on your work. The emblem of the Power Rangers from that time erased in the corner on every paper. You were a fan?" Milo nodded, "Yeah, why are you asking?" "How would you react if I told you I was closely associated with the Rangers of that time?" Milo was blown away, his teacher was associated with the Rangers? Tommy lifted his left sleeve, showing the Black Dinomorpher. "I was Dino Thunder black, Turbo Red, Zeo Red, and the original white ranger. Milo, I have a proposition. You'll get this job, full time biweekly pay, and all the healthcare benefits. All I'm asking is this," he slides a red morpher in the shape of a rabbit's head to Milo, "become the Red Ranger for my new team. You will be Wild Thunder Red."
Milo straps on the rabbit shaped morpher, it's different from Tommy's. An entirely different mechanism. "Shall I bring you to the HQ for the Wild Thunder team?" Milo nodded. What luck he was in, he's a power ranger, and wait, does Tommy already have a Wild Thunder Blue and Yellow? Maybe even a Green? There's only one thing he knows, It's Morphin' Time.
