Chapter 1- Meeting Bianca
3rd person POV
The date was August 30th, 2012, a bright summer day in the city of Aspertia. A girl named June squinted at the paper that her mother gave her that morning, not sure where to go. She was supposed to meet someone that day.
June's POV
"Am I supposed to go to the overlook?" I said to myself as I looked around. I tried deciphering my mother's handwriting as I ran my hand through my messy black hair. I looked towards the platform that supposedly overlooked a lot of the Unova region, only to not see anyone. I slowly made my way over, and started ascending the steps of the overlook.
As soon as I reached the top of the stairs, I was greeted by an overly energetic woman with bright yellow hair. She was wearing red-rimmed glasses, and a white undershirt covered by a puffy orange jacket paired with lime green pants. She eagerly grabbed my right hand with both of her hands, and introduced herself as Bianca. I laughed awkwardly as she let go of my hand, introducing myself as June. "Oh, I know," she said, "Your mother told me all about you!" "So, what am I here for?" I said with an unamused expression on my face. I heard quick-paced footsteps behind me. I spun around, only to see my best friend, Hugh. "I'm here!" he panted, clearly exhausted. I sighed, asking, "What are we here for, exactly?" Bianca replies with "Oh, right! You're here to get your first Pokémon!" She dug inside her bag and pulled out a cylindrical object. It opens, revealing three Pokeballs. "Choose wisely," Bianca beamed.
